Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for the Cardiovascular focus to engage medical professionals and promote Amgen’s products within the Springfield, IL region and surrounding territories.

You will drive branded sales programs, build strong customer relationships, and navigate payer environments to help patients access therapies. A strong clinical knowledge base and field sales experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration required or closely related field.
• Strong track record in pharmaceutical/biotech sales preferred.
• Ability to develop relationships and manage accounts with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals.
• Deliver branded messages and conduct educational programs to achieve sales targets.
• Develop account relationships and manage access, reimbursement, and contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve outcomes.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and patient impact throughout the sales cycle.
• Uphold Amgen values and ethical standards in all activities.
