Job summary

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for the Cardiovascular portfolio to engage medical professionals, communicate product benefits, and navigate payer environments in the US.

The role emphasizes clinical product knowledge, territory management, and building sustained relationships with customers, while aligning with Amgen’s values and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of sales experience in pharma/biotech or medical devices.
• Local market knowledge and established territory relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales through branded messages and programs, including in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including understanding customer needs and ensuring product access and contract discussions.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze territory performance, and develop territory plans in partnership with the District Manager.
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen’s products and uphold Amgen values throughout the sales cycle.
