Job description

Overview

The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs echocardiograms as well as varying vascular studies of patient's anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology. They must demonstrate proficiency in the use of ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the structures of the cardiovascular system in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.

Licensure

Registered Vascular Technologist or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Required - or Registered Vascular Specialist or Registered Cardiac Sonographer Required. Basic Life Support Required.

Education

Graduate Cardiac Ultrasound and Graduate Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound Required - and/or Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Sonography Required - or Equivalent Education and Experience.

Experience

1 Year Clinical - Ultrasound Required.
