UNC Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform ultrasound imaging and patient care for individuals with cardiovascular disease. The role involves pre- and post-procedure care, room setup, and quality assurance.

The position is at Eastowne with a standard 40-hour work week and a salary range of $35.87–$51.57 per hour. QI compliance, ARDMS/CCI registration, and an on-site work arrangement are expected.

Qualifications

• Pre-/post-procedure patient care, CPR required.
• Knowledge of ultrasound imaging of heart/vascular structures.
• Ability to assist with equipment calibration and QA monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Deliver pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Generate ultrasound images of heart and vascular structures.
• Potentially provide staff training and education.
• Maintain patient data and reports, assist with data entry and reporting.
• Prepare procedure room and equipment for daily use and between procedures.
