Job summary

Halifax Health in Daytona Beach seeks a Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform adult and pediatric echocardiography, including TTE for children and adults and TEEs for adults. You will analyze cardiac ultrasound studies across the hospital and collaborate with the Echo lab team.

The role includes a rotation of call, weekends and holidays; staff must respond to emergent studies within 45 minutes to support patient care throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Two-year Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology.
• At least one year experience in non-invasive cardiac ultrasound techniques.
• ARDMS or CCI registered or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric echocardiography procedures.
• Analyze cardiac ultrasound tests: TTEs for pediatrics and adults and adult TEEs.
• On-call rotation includes weekends and holidays; respond to emergent studies within 45 minutes.

This individual will perform adult and pediatric echocardiography procedures. Job responsibilities also include performing and analyzing cardiac ultrasound tests: TTE's (on pediatrics and adults) and adult Transesophageals on patients in all areas of the hospital. This position includes a rotation of call, weekends and holidays. Echo staff must respond to emergent/on-call studies within 45 minutes.

• Previous one year experience in non-invasive cardiac ultrasound techniques
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or CCI registered or eligible
