Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Experienced RN for the Cardiovascular Unit. This part-time position supports the delivery of high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a hospital setting in Oklahoma City.

The RN II will operate under general supervision, maintain nursing practice standards, and uphold OU Health's core values. A minimum of 3–5 years of RN experience and an Oklahoma nursing license are required, with BLS certification on hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Current Oklahoma RN license (or compact license) required.
• 3–5 years RN patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for cardiovascular unit patients under supervision.
• Document patient responses and changes in orders.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status per physician orders.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and intervene as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and family members.
• Support care planning and discharge planning in collaboration with care teams.
