Job summary

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images and support radiologists in patient care at our Omaha facility. You will perform X-rays, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy while ensuring optimal patient experience and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities include patient education, proper positioning, electrode placement, pre-procedure prep, and maintaining sterile technique.

Qualifications

• ARRT‑registered radiography technologist required.
• CPR certification required at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Must be registered technologist radiography with ARRT.
• Medical radiographer licensure in NE and IA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-procedure education and patient preparation.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure patient understanding of procedures and questions are answered.
• Position patient correctly for procedures and ensure electrode placement.
• Ensure skin prep and sterile field are maintained prior to draping.
• Set up patient and sterile equipment per physician preferences.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To be successful in this role, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Assists with pre-procedure education and preparing patients for procedure.

• Collaborates with other staff to assure the patient has a thorough understanding of procedure and is able to answer questions as needed.

• Assures the patient is positioned properly for the procedure.

• Assures EKG electrodes are properly placed and cardiac electrodes correctly applied

• Assures skin is prepped and sterilized appropriately prior to procedural draping

• Sets up patient and sterile equipment in accordance to the performing physician’s preferences.

Pay Range

$32.30 - $48.05 /hour
