In charge of CSU and VAU clinical and administrative operations. The Cardiovascular Manager reports directly to the Heart & Vascular Center, Director of Clinical Operations, and is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities for the Invasive Cardiovascular Service lines. This individual has 24-hour responsibility for the two pre and post-procedural units: the Cardiovascular Support Unit (CSU) and the Vascular Access Lab (VAL). Responsibilities include patient care management, human resource management, unit budget management, supply and equipment inventory management, quality improvement, and professional staff development. The Cardiovascular Manager is responsible for strategic planning, program development, and performance improvement. Additionally, they design and lead operations for multiple cardiovascular service lines and assist with the development and implementation of new programs, policies, and patient care standards. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and is held accountable for the overall administrative planning and coordination of staffing, fiscal, and material resources.
