Job summary

GHR Healthcare recruits an experienced Cardiovascular Perfusionist for a 13-week contract in Camden, NJ. The role requires hands-on perfusion in a fast-paced OR, supporting high-quality cardiovascular procedures.

Start is 10/12/2026 with a 4x10-hour day schedule and 40 hours per week, including call and weekend rotations. Candidates must have at least 1 year of perfusion experience, state licensure, and strong knowledge of heart-lung machines and monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Perfusionist experience required.
• Experience supporting cardiovascular surgery and cardiac procedures in the operating room.
• Current and active Perfusionist licensure and/or certification as required by the state.
• Strong knowledge of extracorporeal circulation equipment, heart-lung machines, and patient monitoring.
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts, participate in call coverage, and rotate weekends.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage heart-lung machines and related perfusion equipment during cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor patient physiological parameters and respond appropriately throughout surgical cases.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical staff to support safe, efficient care.
• Prepare, test, and maintain perfusion equipment to ensure readiness and compliance with clinical standards.
• Document perfusion procedures and patient data accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend rotation as scheduled.
• Support high-quality patient outcomes through adherence to established protocols and best practices.
