Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a registered nurse for the night shift. You will assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors; develop and revise individualized care plans; administer medications; educate patients and families; and coordinate with the care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

This role emphasizes documentation, infection control, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

RN licensure and BLS required.
ASN required; BSN preferred.
Clinical nurse experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across multiple domains.
Develop and implement individualized care plans with regular evaluation.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Document patient information and care activities accurately in the medical record.
Respond to code situations and participate in performance improvement activities.
