Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.

Responsibilities

• The PCA assists nursing staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Communicates data reflective of the patient’s status and delegated tasks.
• Works flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
