Affinity Home Health Care Inc. is seeking a Surgical Assistant to prepare and maintain the surgical suite, ensuring a sterile and safe environment. You will assist with patient positioning, pre-procedure prep, and support the cardiovascular and vascular teams during procedures.

In this role, you will handle instruments, maintain aseptic technique, and monitor equipment to support efficient, high-quality patient care and teamwork in a high-stakes OR setting.

Formación

• Knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic technique.
• Assist with patient positioning safely and accurately.
• Proficiency in instrument handling and procedure support.
• Attention to detail in high-stakes surgical environments.
• Ability to follow protocols and work well with the team.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare surgical areas and maintain an organized, ready operating room.
• Assist with patient positioning and pre-procedure preparation.
• Support the surgical team during cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
• Provide, pass, and manage surgical instruments as needed.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout the procedure.
• Monitor and support surgical equipment to help ensure proper function.
• Contribute to safe, efficient patient care and effective team workflow.
