TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech to facilitate physician procedures, handle instruments and equipment, and ensure sterile field quality during operative care.

The role involves verifying procedures, passing instruments, maintaining counts, and assisting with room setup and cleanup to support efficient surgeries.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Surgical Technology required.
• Relevant acute care experience preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Verifies surgery to be performed with consent forms and brings patient to assigned operating room. Passes instruments to surgeon during procedure. Anticipates surgeon's needs of additional supplies. Performs counts with circulator prior to the operation and before incision is closed. Prepares sterile dressings and secures dressings after incision closure.
• Checks supplies and equipment needed for the procedure. Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions. Helps drape sterile field.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization and assists in room turnover and prep for next patient.

Formation

Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology

CPR certification or BLS certification

Job Summary
Facilitates physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field.

Education & Experience
• Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required
• Relevant acute care experience: Preferred

Licenses & Certifications
• National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: Preferred
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred

Key Responsibilities
