Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the cardiovascular operating room as a room-based physician assistant.
• Obtain patient history, perform assessments, and order/interpret diagnostic studies.
• Provide direct treatment and management via prescriptive authority or referral as appropriate.
• Counsel patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and resources.
• Document care and participate in staff and student education as required.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.
