Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Licensed RN in California (CA Board of Registered Nursing).
• Minimum 5 years in an operating room and understanding of departmental operations.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and integrates clinical resource management within and across departments.
• Hands-on supervisor; works inside the red line.
• Assists surgeons with equipment, supplies and staff readiness.
• Maintains performance improvement and quality control activities.
• Keeps licenses, certifications, and health assessments up to date.
• Assists with daily staffing schedules and staff evaluations.
