Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, part of IntermountainHealth, is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN to join the surgical services team in Grand Junction, Colorado. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses to deliver high-quality care for cardiovascular procedures.

The role requires a BSN, Colorado RN or compact license and current BLS with ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate. The position includes a 40-hour week, shifts with call, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service.
• At least 1 year of Cardiothoracnursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patient’s medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.

Education

BSN from an accredited program

Current Colorado RN license or compact license

Cardiothoracic nursing experience (1 year)
