Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, part of IntermountainHealth, is seeking a Cardiovascular OR RN in Grand Junction, Colorado, to deliver safe, high-quality care for surgical patients. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses to ensure procedures run smoothly.

Required BSN, Colorado RN license (or compact), BLS certification, and at least 1 year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience. 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with call; some nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Colorado RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate).

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patient’s medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
