Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular - OR Prep and Recovery unit at Ross Heart Hospital. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care within a collaborative team.

You will manage and coordinate nursing care for patients and families, assess and implement plans, and supervise other staff to ensure quality outcomes. An Ohio RN license and CCNE/ACEN-accredited nursing education are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE/ACEN accredited program is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a CCNE/ACEN accredited program is preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license or interim permit required.
• 2 years of experience in a relevant care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to patients and families, directing nursing care by the care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care per the professional practice model.
