Are you a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse ready to advance your career? This is a full-time, day shift position (7A–7P) with on-call requirements (once a week and one weekend a month), offering competitive pay, generous bonuses, and relocation assistance (case by case).

Your Role as a CVOR RN

As a CVOR RN , you’ll provide exceptional care to patients undergoing open-heart and cardiovascular surgeries. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Patient Care:
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during complex cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage specialized equipment during surgeries
• Operating Room Expertise:
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
• Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and streamline procedures
• On-Call Responsibilities:
• Be available for on-call shifts (once a week and one weekend a month) to support emergency cases as needed
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless, high-quality care
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient-centered care

• On-Call Pay: $4/hour for on-call shifts
• Shift Differentials:
• $4.50/hour for night shifts
• $1.50/hour weekend differential
• $1.50/hour for holding a national certification (e.g., CNOR)

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience: At least 1 year of CVOR RN experience in an acute care environment required
• Education: BSN preferred; ADN considered with relevant experience
• Certifications:
• Current Florida RN license (or ability to obtain one)
• Compact license holders must apply for a Florida RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA Healthcare Provider) required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Skills: Strong technical proficiency, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
