Shift: Day Shift – 10 Hours | Full-Time – 40 Hours

As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Circulating RN , you’ll be an essential member of a highly specialized surgical team performing some of the most advanced and complex procedures in healthcare, including open-heart surgery, valve replacements, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), aortic procedures, and other innovative cardiovascular interventions.

What You’ll Do
Coordinate and provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Serve as the circulating nurse for open-heart and other cardiovascular surgeries while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient operating room.
Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, surgical technologists, and the multidisciplinary care team.
Anticipate procedural needs while ensuring the availability and functionality of specialized cardiovascular equipment and supplies.
Maintain the highest standards of sterile technique, patient safety, infection prevention, and surgical quality.
Monitor patient status throughout procedures and rapidly respond to changing patient conditions.
Advocate for patients while ensuring accurate documentation, communication, and continuity of care throughout the surgical experience.
What We’re Looking For
Required
Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
RQI Provider (BLS) certification within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or prior to providing independent patient care.
Strong understanding of professional nursing practice, patient assessment, and perioperative care principles.
Ability to remain calm, organized, and decisive in high‑acuity, rapidly changing situations.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
