Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana required. BSN degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a similar position within a medical setting (e.g., physician office, clinic, or hospital) preferred. Experience in assigned area(s) preferred. Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology, and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care. RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first. Understanding the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to, HIPAA guidelines. Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical office, simple routine clinical laboratory methods, universal blood and body fluid precautions. Must have knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, established protocol for storing poisons, narcotics, acids, caustics, and flammable items; restrictions imposed by various manage care carriers, various forms inherent to profession. Promotes excellence through setting high standards and providing high quality outcomes. Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and exhibit empathy. Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently. Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
