Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks an Advanced Clinical Nurse Educator to create, manage, and evaluate education programs that advance patient care. You will develop goals, recommend policies, and evaluate outcomes, while leading teaching, mentoring, and professional development across the nursing staff in a dynamic hospital setting.

Applicants should have at least four years of clinical nursing experience, Georgia RN license, BLS, and AHA ECC Instructor credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Georgia License as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• BLS certification is required.
• Certified AHA ECC Instructor - BLS (required within 6 months of hire) ACLS and/or PALS (desired).

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and evaluate education/training programs and services.
• Develop related goals and objectives.
• Recommend policies and evaluate program outcomes.
• Direct patient/family care, consultation, teaching/coaching/mentoring, research, patient advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional development.
