Job summary

Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the Central North territory including MI, IL, WI, MO, IA, KS, NE, MN, SD, and ND.

The MSL will act as the medical and scientific contact for payors, IDNs, and ACOs, delivering data discussions and scientific education across cardiovascular therapies. The ideal candidate will have an advanced scientific degree and 2+ years of field medical experience, proven presentation skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Must have strong ability to communicate scientific information clearly.
• Experience presenting health outcome data to payors and senior leaders is preferred.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with national, regional, and local KOLs and payer leaders.
• Engage in scientific exchange and education regarding Lexicon’s therapies.
• Develop scientific expertise in Cardiovascular disease management for engagements with HCPs and payor accounts.
• Deliver engagement plans with Lexicon field-based and non-field-based colleagues.
• Capture insights in CRM in a timely manner.
• Support medical affairs activities, including medical information services and advisory boards.
