Job summary

Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab RN for full-time, first shift. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified individuals and on-call weekends/holidays are required by rotation.

The Noninvasive Lab supports physicians with cardiovascular diagnostics and the Cardiac Rehab program aids patient recovery. This role emphasizes assessment, care planning, direct patient care, and delivery management in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor’s or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• If not already certified, applicants must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.

The Noninvasive Lab is a specialized department within a healthcare facility dedicated to performing diagnostic tests and supporting improved quality of life for patients. This unit, composed of registered nurses, nuclear medicine technicians, sonographers, and exercise physiologists, provides high-quality care to assist physicians in diagnosing, managing, and treating cardiovascular conditions. Additionally, our Cardiac Rehab program helps patients recover and improve their heart health following a cardiac event.
