Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• ACLS and BLS are required.
• ARRT (CI) or ARRT credentials are required or RCIS credential.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist status is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging and procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Assist in electrocardiograms, catheterizations, and pulmonary functions.
• Prepare EP Lab for accepting cardiac patients.
• Perform scrubbing, hemodynamic monitoring, and recording of diagnostic/interventional procedures (e.g., cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals).

Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cath Lab in Jacksonville, FL! This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire, supported by our dedicated team and resources. This is a Full-Time opportunity.

This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging and procedures. These include tests on cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes. This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will also conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, pulmonary functions.

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist you will be responsible for:

• Performing diagnostic imaging and procedures
• Assisting in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions
• Preparing EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
• Performing technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals.

Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist, Cath Lab, Experience;

• Experience working in a Hospital setting
• Less than 1 year Cath Lab experience.
