Job summary

Responsibilities include diagnostic imaging, assisting in ECGs and catheterizations, and preparing the EP Lab for cardiac patients. Strong emphasis on hemodynamic monitoring and patient care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires ACLS and BLS certification.
• RCIS or ARRT (CI) or ARRT Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentials.
• Cath Lab experience and comfort with interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Assist with electrocardiograms, catheterizations, and pulmonary function testing.
• Prepare EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients and ensure readiness for procedures.
• Scrub and monitor hemodynamics; document cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy and peripheral procedures.

Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist Position

Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cath Lab in Jacksonville, FL. This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire, supported by our dedicated team and resources. This is a Full-Time opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic imaging and procedures
• Assisting in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions
• Preparing EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
• Performing technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals.

Experience

• Experience working in a Hospital setting
• Less than 1 year Cath Lab experience.
