Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our Cath Lab on a PRN basis. This role supports cutting‑edge cardiovascular diagnostics and interventions in a state‑of‑the‑art facility, with the RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

The position offers four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with potential extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• ACLS required.
• BLS required.
• RCIS CI/ARRT or licensed radiologic technologist is required or ARRT/RCIS licensure options.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging and procedures.
• Assist in electrocardiograms, catheterizations, and pulmonary function tests.
• Prepare EP Lab for the acceptance of cardiac patients.
• Perform technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, and peripheral interventions.

This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting‑edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state‑of‑the‑art facility. The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity. Four, 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Friday are offered with hours of 6:30 am – 5:00 pm with weekly extended hours if needed.

• Less than 1 year Cath Lab experience.

Education & Credential Requirements

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) required or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT required or
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required or
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist required.
