Inova is seeking experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists to join our team in Virginia. This is a full-time variable shift role with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Positions available at Inova Alexandria Hospital and Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist responsibilities include providing safe, holistic patient care and collaborating in care planning to meet diverse patient needs.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical in Radiologic Technology; Graduate of an accredited school of Radiography.
• Licensure: Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia; required only if the position is located in a free standing center not affiliated with an Inova Health System Hospital.
• Certification: BLS within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days; ARRT registries eligible; if graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program, must obtain ARRT within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: None required.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and therapeutic care in a holistic and caring way while incorporating differences into the provision of care.
• Performs psychosocial/physiologic assessments that integrate changing data as documented in procedure notes.
• Tailors and prioritizes caring practices to individual needs, including cultural/ethical/spiritual needs. Participates in planning routine transitional health care needs.
• Ensures efficiency in the delivery of care while determining immediate priorities and offering solutions for problems.
