Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 3 to join the team. This role will be full‑time, 40 hours per week: four shifts a week with ten hours per shift, plus on‑call requirement. Sign‑on and Relocation Bonus Available.

Job Responsibilities

• Formulate an individual Plan of Care for patients with complex needs to achieve a desired outcome.
• Act as a clinical resource and serve as a mentor to healthcare team members while displaying leadership behaviors.
• Identify own learning needs based on self‑evaluation and the progress made from the previous year's goals; demonstrate evidence of self‑development activities (beyond orientation) and attend services/seminars related to the field.
• Anticipate and maintain lab supply needs during procedures; support and suggest departmental cost‑saving strategies and provide care in an efficient and cost‑conscious manner.
• Perform higher‑level tasks in the care of cardiac cath patients (e.g., Impella and new technologies).
• Provide complete care of patients with complex needs to achieve desired outcomes, including patients on life‑support systems (e.g., ventilator and ECMO).
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

• Licensure – Registered Nurse upon start. If the team member doesn't possess one of the above registries, the team member must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification – Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association upon start; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support upon start; registered in one of the following: RCIS, RCES, RTRVI, RTRCV, RTRCI; CPR; ACLS if Critical Care Certification.
• Experience – One year at an Inova cath lab or EP lab at a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 2 level; two years of equivalent experience/training in an interventional cardiac Cath Lab or an Electrophysiology Lab.
• Education – Associate Degree; graduate of an accredited school of nursing or graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience.
