Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 to join the Interventional Radiology team. This Day shift, M-F role includes (4) 10 hr shifts with a sign-on and relocation bonus.

The successful candidate assists in procedural support, calibrates and troubleshoots equipment, and monitors EKG/hemodynamics during procedures. RN or CVT/RCIS paths are considered with required certifications.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
• RN licensure in Virginia within 12 months if RCIS/RCES/RTRVI/RTRCV/RTRCI not obtained.
• Graduate of accredited nursing or cardiovascular/radiology programs with relevant education.

Responsibilities

• Assists the healthcare team with documentation and care planning.
• Acts as a clinical resource and mentors team members.
• Enters charge information accurately and maintains data for outcome reports.
• Delegates care activities and helps with room turnover.
• Calibrates, operates and troubleshoots equipment; monitors EKG and hemodynamic data.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
