Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures with a strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and sterile technique. You will use imaging technologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and contribute to optimal patient care.

The role emphasizes effective communication with patients and healthcare teams, flexibility to manage fast-paced shifts, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours or RCIS training certification.
One year of relevant experience preferred.
State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
ARRT (R) or RCIS certification; BLS.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety during procedures.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
