Job Title: Cardiovascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Delaware, OH

MLR Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cardiovascular Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join a leading healthcare team in Ohio. In this critical role, you will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions using advanced imaging technologies and radiologic techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and catheterizations.
  2. Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI scanners.
  3. Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, providing technical support and ensuring patient safety.
  4. Prepare and position patients for exams, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
  5. Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring vital signs are stable and managing any emergency situations.
  6. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with procedural documentation.
  7. Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  8. Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.

Qualifications:

  1. Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiography, and must have CVIR (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology) certification or equivalent.
  2. State License: Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (Ohio).
  3. Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular interventional radiology preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training are also encouraged to apply.
  4. Skills: Proficiency in operating cardiovascular imaging equipment, strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy, and excellent communication skills.
