Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular ICU to perform comprehensive assessments, develop SMART care plans, and administer medications. You will educate patients and families and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

The role requires an RN with current license, BLS and ACLS credentials, an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), and hospital/critical care experience is valued.

Qualifications

• RN with current license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in acute hospital settings and critical care favored.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement SMART care plans with the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per protocol.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, social workers, and nurses for coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement and ensure patient safety.
