Job summary

UVA Health in Charlottesville, VA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Thoracic Cardiovascular ICU to care for high-acuity cardiac, vascular, and transplant patients. Join a collaborative team delivering evidence-based critical care and ongoing professional growth.

You will work closely with surgeons, intensivists, APPs, pharmacists, and therapists, with dedicated orientation and opportunities for CSU-ALS and ECMO training within a Magnet-recognized academic health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• BSN required within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia; AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care for patients whose conditions can change quickly in the TCV ICU.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, APPs, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and other disciplines to develop individualized plans of care.
