• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required within 5 years of hire.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred for ICU nursing.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Virginia; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients recovering from complex cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures.
• Provide care for patients requiring advanced circulatory and respiratory support.
• Continuously assess patient status and respond with clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, APPs, pharmacists, and therapists to develop care plans.
• Participate in unit learning, mentorship, and progression toward advanced cardiovascular critical care.
