Arkansas Heart Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse - Critical Care to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for cardiovascular patients. The RN-Critical administers medications, directs non-licensed staff, and leads the interdisciplinary team while ensuring safety and high-quality care across the care continuum.

Responsibilities include completing assessments, documenting findings, educating patients and families, and coordinating transitions of care.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license with state licensure or Nursing Compact licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification by end of clinical orientation.
• Proficiency with point-of-care procedures and maintaining documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Complete admission assessments and periodic reassessments per unit routines and patient population parameters.
• Document findings and communicate information to the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate on development, evaluation and revision of the plan of care.
• Provide competent direct patient care in a safe, comforting environment.
• Educate patients/families/significant others on care and readiness to learn.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and standard precautions.
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and hospital policy.
• Maintain all necessary documentation and coordinate transitions of care.
• Coordinate team response to emergency situations.
• Perform Point-of-Care procedures per policy and maintain QC standards.
