Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System invites applications for a Nurse Practitioner/APP – Cardiovascular ICU, IMU. This full-time night shift role (7p–7a) features rotating weekends and holidays with no on-call requirement.

AGACNP or PA background, plus 2–3 years of RN/NP/PA critical care experience, particularly with heart failure, are required. New NPs or PAs must have 2–3 years RN critical care experience and training on devices.

Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical nursing experience in the intended practice area.
• Texas NP licensure eligibility and successful certification are required.
• ACLS/BLS certification as applicable to critical care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care through systematic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management and in-hospital follow up.
• Deliver care per the Texas Nurse Practice Act and Memorial Hermann Health System Standards of Care.
• Participate in care of cardiovascular ICU and IMU patient populations.
