Job summary

Memorial Hermann in Texas seeks a Nurse Practitioner / APP for the Cardiovascular ICU/IMU. The role provides comprehensive patient care with systemic assessment, diagnosis, treatment and in-hospital follow-up under the Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards.

FT Nights, rotating weekends/holidays, no call; AGACNP or PA required; 2–3 years CCU nursing experience with heart failure population is expected; training on devices will be provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the State of Texas.
• Graduate of Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the State of Texas if area of intended practice is Trauma; Masters of Nursing preferred.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience in the intended practice area.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the Cardiovascular ICU/IMU, including systemic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and in-hospital follow-up.
• Work within the Texas Nurse Practice Act and Memorial Hermann Health System Standards of Care; train on devices as needed.
