Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Texas is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Cardiovascular ICU/IMU. This is a full-time night shift (7p–7a) with rotating weekends and holidays and no on-call requirement. AGACNP or PA credentials are required with 2–3 years of CCU experience; new NPs/PAs must have RN CCU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the State of Texas.
• ACLS and BLS certification required; ATLS if trauma focus.
• Two years of CCU/critical care experience preferred; RN experience for new NPs/PAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care across the disease process in the Cardiovascular ICU.
• Perform systemic assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and in-hospital follow up.
• Train on and manage cardiovascular devices; care for VV/VA ECMO and related support.
