Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is expanding its Open-Heart Surgical program and seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to lead inpatient care in the CVICU and PCU. You will collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons to develop evidence-based practices and improve outcomes.

You will mentor nursing staff, drive quality initiatives, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and ensure smooth discharge planning while maintaining compassionate patient-centered care across adult ages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice nursing program with either an ARNP degree or CNS degree.
• Current ARNP licensure in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cardiothoracic Surgeons to develop Open-Heart Surgical program and guide inpatient care in CVICU/PCU.
• Utilize best available evidence to guide practice interventions and improve outcomes.
• Provide consultation to nursing and healthcare teams; mentor staff and engage in quality improvement.
