Job summary

Augusta University seeks a Bioinformatics Analyst in the Immunology Center of Georgia to design and perform cardiovascular genomics analyses, including GWAS, molecular QTL, biomarker identification, and single-cell sequencing. Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's with relevant research/clinical experience.
• Strong communication, data management, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with bioinformatics and cardiovascular genomics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• BIOINFORMATICS ANALYSES: Design and perform Bioinformatics analyses in cardiovascular genomics (GWAS, molecular QTL, drug screening, biomarker ID, precision medicine, single-cell RNA/ATAC seq, CRISPR screening).
• WRITING: Assist PI with publications and grant applications.
• SUPERVISE: Supervise junior members in the lab.
• OTHER: Perform all other duties as assigned.
