Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb invites a Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist to join the Cardiovascular Community in Jackson, MS. You will drive evidence-based promotion, engage HCPs with scientific dialogue, and maintain deep expertise across BMS cardiovascular products.

The role emphasizes field-based activity, cross-functional collaboration, and use of digital tools like CE^3 to optimize call planning and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
• Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to help physicians best serve their patients.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers and office staff.
• Experience in cardiovascular preferred.
• Proven account management and selling competencies with track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
• Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
• Engages with and maintains a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
• Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
• Uses CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership.
• Collaborates with other field teams to deliver enhanced Customer Experience (Cx).
