Northside Hospital seeks a Cardiology Technician to support diagnostic cardiac evaluations. You will perform and assist with EKGs, treadmill testing, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal-averaged testing, and wellness profiles across neonates to geriatrics.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and American Heart Association BLS; preferred candidates have 1 year of Cardiology Technician experience and certifications such as EKG or CNA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Experience as Cardiology Technician preferred.
• EKG or CNA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and assist in performance of EKGs, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal-averaged testing, and personal wellness profiles for diagnostic cardiac evaluation across patient ages.

Schedules and assists in performance of EKG's, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles on patients for the purpose of diagnostic cardiac evaluation. Patient type includes neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

REQUIRED

1. High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience as a Cardiology Technician
2. Certification (EKG, CNA or similar)
