Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a Cardiology Technician to support diagnostic cardiac services. You will schedule and perform EKGs, treadmill and ergometer tests, and assist with nuclear studies to evaluate heart health.

This role serves a broad patient range from neonates to geriatrics, with work hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and rotating weekends. A high school diploma and BLS are required; preferred one year of experience and EKG/CNA certification; on-site, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: High school diploma, GED or post-secondary education.
• REQUIRED: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• PREFERRED: One year of experience as Cardiology Technician.
• PREFERRED: Certification in EKG or CNA or similar.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs EKGs, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer tests for diagnostic cardiac evaluation.
• Cares for a patient population from neonates to geriatrics during testing and monitoring.
• Assists with nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal average testing and wellness profiling.

Responsibilities

Schedules and assists in performance of EKG’s, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles on patients for the purpose of diagnostic cardiac evaluation. Patient type includes neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiology Technician
• Certification (EKG, CNA or similar)

Work Hours:

7AM-3:30PM
