Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiology Technician to support diagnostic cardiac testing and patient care across neonates to geriatrics. You will schedule and assist with EKGs, treadmill tests, ergometer sessions, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal averaging and wellness profiling.

Required: High school diploma or GED and American Heart Association BLS. Preferred: 1 year of Cardiology Tech experience or relevant certifications like EKG or CNA.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: High school diploma, GED or post-secondary education
• REQUIRED: Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PREFERRED: One year of experience as a Cardiology Technician
• PREFERRED: Certification (EKG, CNA or similar)

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assists in performance of EKGs, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal averaging and personal wellness profiles for diagnostic cardiac evaluation across age groups.
