Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a proficient Echo/vascular ultrasound technologist for Day Shift at the Echovascular Lab in Columbia, SC. You will schedule, perform and process echo and vascular examinations and participate in education and quality improvement programs.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma, CPR certification, ARDMS/CCI registry eligibility with 90 days to registry, and formal training in echocardiography or vascular sonography. On-call duty may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Registry eligible (ARDMS or CCI) in Echocardiography and/or Vascular Technology; registry within 90 days of hire date.
• Formal or occupational training specific to echocardiography and/or vascular sonography.

Responsibilities

• Performs invasive and non-invasive echo and/or vascular procedures.
• Recognizes symptoms of cardiovascular distress and uses appropriate equipment.
• Maintains professional rapport with Medical Director and Cardiovascular Staff.
• Participates in quality improvement and education programs.
