Job summary

This full-time position involves performing echo and vascular ultrasound examinations and requires a High School Diploma. Candidates must be CPR certified and registry eligible in Echocardiography or Vascular Technology within 90 days of hire. Qualifications

• Certified in CPR or certified within 3 months of employment.
• Registry eligible (ARDMS or CCI) in Echocardiography and/or Vascular Technology.
• Must obtain registry in either Echocardiography or Vascular Technology within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Performs invasive and non-invasive echo and/or vascular procedures.
• Obtains a brief history that applies to cardiac disease states.
• Clinically evaluates patients and determines the level of appropriate testing.

Skills

Understanding of medical terminology

Ability to perform vascular procedures

Recognizing symptoms of cardiovascular distress
