Qualifications

• High School Graduate with 1+ years of cardiovascular ultrasound clinical experience as a Registered Cardiac and Vascular Sonographer.
• Experience performing stress echo procedures including treadmill and pharmacological.
• BLS or BCLS certification and ARDMS/CCI credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex cardiac ultrasound procedures including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Conduct vascular imaging such as carotid Duplex and peripheral studies with accurate data organization.
• Assist with TEE procedures and on-call echocardiographic services under a cardiologist.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain safety and comfort throughout exams.
• Support QA activities and participate in ongoing education within the department.
