Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Diagnostic Tech-Cath Lab to support diagnostic cardiac procedures and related services in a 235-bed acute care facility in Wellington, FL. The role includes call coverage, overtime opportunities, and a Monday–Friday day shift with 7:00am–3:30pm hours.
The CVL technologist provides scrub assistance, hemodynamic monitoring when needed, and may float to other areas to meet patient needs.
This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a convenient day shift schedule. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

The CVL technologist assumes responsibility and accountability for all technical aspects of procedures, including scrub assistance and hemodynamic monitoring (if acting in those roles). The technologist is accountable to the patient, Department Manager, Department Director, Medical Director and Chief Nursing Officer.
Under the direction of the Department Manager and the Medical Director and with approved policy and procedure is responsible for assisting the cardiologist, in the performance of diagnostic cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertion, peripheral Vascular, and hemo-dynamic monitoring studies (if applicable). The CVL Technologist must be willing to cross train and float to other areas of the hospital to meet the needs of the facility. Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead. Verbalizes stroke alert process. Assists with preparation of patient for Endovascular treatment (groin clipping, peripheral pulse check, and transfer onto procedure table), room set up, assumes patient care of the stroke alert while in Interventional Radiology Department. Maintains currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 4 hours online training.
