Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Cardiovascular Device Nurse to provide comprehensive interrogation and reprogramming of implanted cardiac devices across inpatient, procedural, and outpatient settings. The role requires current RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

The nurse will document in the EHR and Device Management Systems, coordinate with the Heart Rhythm care team, and support quality patient care in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• One year RN experience preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state.
• Maintains BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform interrogations and reprogramming of cardiac devices (Pacemakers, Implantable Loop Recorders, ICDs).
• Conduct interrogations in inpatient, procedural, outpatient and remote settings.
• Generate reports, manage charges and documentation in EHR and Device Management Systems.
• Collaborate with Heart Rhythm Service Line and allied health staff.
• Work with on-call rotation; schedule includes weekdays, some evenings, weekends, holidays.
